It's located near many bars and restaurants, great for exploring. I didn't check out breakfast since it was quite empty. I appreciated the access to the indoor pool and fitness center.

The location
The ceiling was peeling. And the carpet smelled funny. The coffee maker was moldy and I had to go downstairs with my 9 month old and 3 Year old to get coffee. My bag broke in the lobby while I was carrying my 9 month old and bags, the person at the desk saw me and did not offer help. I had to put my son on the floor to gather my things. Luckily a couple who was staying there wound up helping me

The location was excellent - very close to restaurants and Cooperstown all village. The unit we got was reasonably spacious and updated with a fireplace, Queen Size Beds plus TV.

This place suits me perfectly! I enjoy the free wi-fi, indoor pool, and friendly staff who once helped me find my way. I highly recommend it for a romantic escape.

Front entrance an upgrade walking in the "manual" doors; on rainy day, slippery cobblestones hazardous; only one elevator and no room number directions when one steps off the elevator; no courtesy breakfast; hotel street sign impossible to see at night; parking too far from front door. . . .really not happy about the $2.00 "service charge."

Convenient location, however there was much deferred maintenance that should be done.
Your service did not communicate our reservation of April 9 to Clarion, according to Clarion. Rooms were clean yet bedding had HOT foam atop mattress.

The staff was well trained and helpful. Very courteous. Great customer service.
We had dirty towels hanging behind the door in our bathroom when we checked in. Stained ceiling tiles, ice machine on our floor not working. Gym and laundry area always locked. No discount for SUNY parents like the other hotels in the area.

The staff were friendly.
We found small worms on the floor in the workout room -- we'd been doing yoga on the carpet and put towels down and noticed them. YUCK. The room was not super clean (a dead bug on the windowsill for example). The facility is run down and needs paint and redecorating, repairs. The buffet breakfast was horrible! Really dried out eggs, bacon and stale bread for toast. We travel a lot and are not hard to please but this was disappointing overall for what we paid.

The staff were attentive, and the location was excellent, with easy access to downtown shops and restaurants. I felt safe walking around, and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast options provided.
Updated furnishings would enhance the overall comfort significantly.

Location
Hotel is dated and in need of general upkeep. For the price a better maintained property is expected.

Quiet and comfortable...
The price was very steep. Even if it was Hall of Fame weekend, 400 a night is unfair....... The buffet breakfast was a disappointment. There was no bacon, and most of the trays were empty and picked through at 8:30 in the morning and not refilled.

The lighting in the hall ways was poor, walls very thin, dining room had no heat

Location ideal! Room clean and comfortable.
After checking in went down to pool area to find that it was under repair. This was not mentioned at time of check in or on web site. Very disappointed. When using whirlpool tub parts of jet came off floating around.
